How do I make a return via mail within Australia?Updated 8 months ago

We accept the return of full price & sale items returned within 30 days of purchase provided your item(s) are unused, unworn and undamaged, and include all original tags, labels and retail packaging.


Return by mail

1. Prepare

Lodge your return here. You will need your order number email address you entered when placing your order and follow the steps to initiate your return and create your return label. Returns shipping is free for all Billabong Crew members, shipping is at customer's expense for all non members.

2. Pack

Reuse the original packaging and ensure you include only unused, unworn and undamaged items (including all tags, labels and retail packaging). You must also return any free promotional items you received with your original order.

Wetsuits & fragile items such as hats & flasks must be returned in a box & shoes must be returned in their box, enclosed in a satchel/bag.

Apply the supplied shipping address label to the outside of the retail packaging (For Billabong Crew members this will include postage, for all other customers, this is an address label only and is not prepaid postage.)

3. Post

Deliver your return to an Australia Post location.


Refund process

Upon receipt of the returned item, we will examine it to ensure that it meets our return policy criteria. If the return is approved, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment.


Non-returnable items

Certain items may not be eligible for return due to hygiene, final sale, or other reasons. These items will be clearly marked on the product page.
