No, loyalty points are not earned on the purchase or redemption of gift cards.

However, if you use a gift card to make a purchase and the total exceeds the gift card balance, points can be earned on the portion paid with other payment methods. 

For example, if you buy a $100 item and pay $25 with a gift card and $75 with a credit card, you will earn points on the $75 paid by credit card.
